Neverending races with the famous Astroboy
Astro Boy Dash is a game where the main stars are characters from the famous manga by Ozamu Tezuka, later converted into the famous cartoon series, Astroboy.
Astro Boy Dash uses the endless runner format, in which your objective is to run, jump and escape from Dr. Elefun. You can do this as Astroboy, or as Uran (if you manage to unblock the character).
Speed, speed and more speed
The concept of the game is simple: Astroboy is fed up going to Dr. Elefun’s classes. So fed up, in fact, that he starts to run and run to escape the classroom. On the way, you have to avoid obstacles and collect as many coins as you can.
While you advance through Astro Boy Dash, you can get different costumes which give you special powers. If you want, you can share your scores through Facebook or Google+.
Run, jump and crawl
The controls aren’t very difficult. Sliding your finger across the screen allows you to move from side to side, somersault or crawl under obstacles. The character already runs by himself.
Although Astro Boy Dash gameplay is fast and the movements are fluid, it does get a bit repetitive after the first few games. Also, if you don’t have enough coins you can’t continue the game from where you left off, so you have to repeat sections.
From a cartoon to an endless runner
We’re sure that the author of the original manga didn’t imagine that Astroboy would become a cartoon character, let alone that he would be endlessly running around on our Android screens.
The result: a great gift for those who have seen the series. If you don’t know the character, Astro Boy Dash is still an equally entertaining game.
