An App to Make Your Own Database Application
AppMaker is a tool that helps you build a database application, without having to code. As a user, you have the option to customise your private database to your heart’s content.
Import Content from Any Database
Any current database – including SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, etc. – could be imported into AppMaker. The application would create edit screens automatically depending on the data source fields. And the import activity can be carried out at all stages of development. Changes, deletions or additions of tables or fields could be done any time during development. Edit screens are made real-time. Fresh fields would automatically get slotted onto the edit screen sans needing any cumbersome redevelopment. Moreover, AppMaker takes care of defining all database relationships.
Endless Customisations
As aforementioned, the database presentation can be customised in multiple ways. You can also customise the edit screens using the intuitive, yet simple field ordering language of the application. Some of the customisation features offered are ability to add custom Crystal Reports, total company branding, option to append your own software or application wizards to the programming interface, etc. Some of the other handy features are a scheduling tool, an inbuilt word processor, SMTP/POP3 email software, Crystal Reports integration, a wide range of colour formatting options, etc. If you have Crystal Reports of your own, you may make custom reports and launch them from within AppMaker.
AppMaker allows you to create feature rich database applications in less than a day with little or no programming knowledge. The program fully exploits the latest component and database technologies to deliver state-of-the-art applications in a fraction of the time and cost as was previously possible. AppMaker employs RAD techniques to deliver fully functioning applications ready to be put into production.
The main aim of the software is to allow you to create feature rich software for your end users. End users can modify many of their data views to group or sort based on their needs, and AppMaker saves these views to automatically apply them on the users next visit to the screen.
AppMaker has other abilities that have been created with the database author in mind. These features are not revealed to the end users. This includes a full-blown SQL Query Builder to assist with building your SQL Statements, or for less experienced developers, we include an application-building wizard.
