Who will win the battle of the baddies?

Aliens Vs Predator is an updated version of the classic 1999 horror shooter, bringing the violent terror up to date with todays powerful PCs.

The full game will feature the three-part single player campaign, where you can play as an Alien, Predator or a human Marine. This demo allows you to try a multiplayer game – deathmatch – with seven other players online. You can choose your species, though there’s only one game type and one map. Deathmatch isn’t really the best game mode for Aliens Vs Predator, as having everyone against everyone means death comes too quickly for newcomers!

The first game was tense and scary – Aliens Vs Predator in the 21st century is no different. It’s dark, atmospheric and extremely gory. Controls are typical for a first person shooter, so it’s easy to pick up. With the graphics settings high, it will need a powerful PC to run smoothly, but it looks good on low texture too.

The sound is great, really making you feel tense. It’s not a comfortable experience, so if you’re easily scared, keep clear of this! It’s also worth mentioning that this is a pretty gruesome game, and definitely not for kids.

This demo is quire limited, but give you a good feel for the tension and horror of the full release.
