Alias Bookmarks – Browser Extension

Alias Bookmarks is a browser extension that allows you to create aliases for your bookmarks, similar to the way you can do it in Firefox and other Mozilla-based browsers. You can call an alias by opening it from the omnibox (ctrl+.) 

The extension also provides a method to call an alias from a URL or from a bookmarklet. You can also add aliases to folders, which makes it possible to group together a number of bookmarks and/or folder.

The first version of the extension introduces a simple feature that allows you to set the bookmark called an alias. This version adds a method to get more options by enabling auto-completion.
