The American Heart Association (AHA) is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1912 with a mission to “advocate for and advance the field of cardiovascular medicine, to promote research, and to educate and empower patients and the public.” The AHA’s mission is to connect people with the information they need to live a healthy life and to help empower them to make their own health decisions.

This app is a part of the American Heart Association’s Digital Library and eBooks Program. The app is free to download and use, and contains thousands of health titles from thousands of medical and health institutions, including McGraw-Hill, Dorland, and other leading health publishers.
