World War simulator game

Ages of Conflict: World War Simulator is a free simulation title for PC by an indie developer who goes by JokuPelle. It’s a war game simulator that lets players engage in warfare on a global scale. It lets them create custom nations and have them do battle under various condition-based events.

Combining the minimalistic design of EarthRoyale with the more involved gameplay of Age of Civilizations II, Ages of Conflict: World War Simulator offers an engaging and strategic experience to players. This demo version offers various pre-made map layouts and country allocations to get beginners started right away.

At the palm of your hand

War simulators play on the idea of ‘what ifs’ and incorporate the concept into their core gameplay. Players create a world whose very existence hinges upon the outcome of battles and the unpredictable ways that events will unfold throughout history. That, in a nutshell, is Ages of Conflict: World World Simulator, and it is presented in a distinct, colorful, and minimalist way.

This simulator features 12 pre-made maps you can try to get a feel for the gameplay. You start out as an observer, watching how countries interact and co-exist with one another. Influence the world’s direction by forcing neighbors to fight, hostiles to forge alliances, or simply change a name. Witness how your actions unfold in various ways throughout the course of history.

You can engage in some world-building for a sense of continuity and make the experience more immersive. There’s even a custom map painter to let you create your own maps. As mentioned earlier, this is just a demo version, but the full game is in development, and you can check via its official Steam page for future news and updates as they become available.

The world as you see it

It looks rather plain and simple on the surface but Ages of Conflict: World War Simulator is an intriguing war game that you can check out if you’re a fan of the genre. There is a surprising amount of depth to it given the various ways you can influence events, and they’re all quite interesting to watch. Hopefully, the full game gets released soon.
