Aadhaar QR Scanner is a unique application developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for scanning and reading the QR code presented on the e-Aadhaar and printed Aadhaar card. It is the first time that such a service is made available on the mobile app.

This application is a part of the Aadhar development program, which was initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to provide a solution to the problems faced by the people in the process of applying for the Aadhar card. The application allows the users to generate the QR code for their Aadhar card and then scan it using the QR scanner in the app.
