You need file launcher to be small, fast, and user friendly. You need your shortcuts to look as close as possible to files they represent (‘int’ for browser, ‘zip’ for WinZip, ‘pin’ for Pinball etc).

You want to type those shortcuts into the small text box (two or three letters, the rest is auto-completed) and to press Enter. Mayk is all that.
