Idle strategy war game for mobile

Idle Siege is a free strategy title developed by Gameloft SE for mobile devices. It’s an idle game wherein players are war tycoons looking to invade a group of supposedly unconquerable islands. They need to employ great battle tactics and commanders to achieve ultimate supremacy.

Similar in concept to Idle Army Base: Tycoon Game, Idle Siege requires proper planning and ideal strategies in order to achieve victory. Players will have access to a variety of weapons and soldiers as they can form the greatest army to tackle all kinds of battle scenarios that the game will pose.

Setting sights on a new target

In Idle Siege, you play as a mighty warlord who has landed upon a group of islands known by many as the Unconquerable Islands. Seeking to put your reputation and skills to the test, you will set on to prove whether the islands are indeed impervious to invasion and siege. Your task is to do whatever it takes to make that goal a reality.

You first need to establish a base by gathering resources and materials needed to feed and train your men. Idle Siege offers different unit types and artillery to create battle formations and tactics suitable for different battle scenarios. Soldiers have multiple leveling paths available for you to unlock to increase their effectiveness. Earn gold to finance army upgrades to further your conquest throughout the land.

What’s more, you can call upon some of history’s legendary heroes and commanders, such as Ghengis Khan, Robin Hood, and others to help turn the tide in battle. Now, being free-to-play, the game has various ads all throughout, which is understandable. However, they can be a bit too much and get in the way of gameplay at times. Also, crashes and freeze-ups have been happening more frequently with recent updates.

Tear those walls down

If you’re a fan of war games and strategy titles in general but don’t have that much time to invest in actively playing them, you might want to check out Idle Siege. It takes the same deeply strategic gameplay and mixes it with the pickup and play approach. Whether you’re in or out of it, you can be assured that it will progress regardless.
