Elemental-themed tower defense game for PC

Element TD 2 is a premium strategy game for PC by developer Element Studios. It’s a tower defense title that was designed based on the concept of elements and their unique attributes. Players will need to consider the enemy type to help them determine the best defense tower to serve as a counter.

Compared to other tower defense games like Bloons TD 6 or Kingdom Rush, which offer easy-to-learn mechanics, Element TD 2 boasts deep and complex gameplay that fans of the genre will appreciate. There are multiple game modes available and cosmetic items for a different look.

Power of the elements

When it comes to tower defense games, it’s all about strategically placing towers in the right spot to maximize their effectiveness against enemy waves. Depending on the theme, they usually range from guns to ballista, and even ones inspired by magic. Elements TD 2 is more akin to the latter, but instead of utilizing the powers of sorcery, it taps on the power of the elements.

In Element TD 2, you have the forces of six elemental types at your disposal to empower your towers. You can combine them in a variety of ways to create 59 unique towers that can be used to defeat different enemies. Each element has its own strengths and weaknesses, and it’s up to you to determine the best one suited over 55 waves of enemies across 26 maps and environments.

Choose from the three game modes available to you, namely CampaignCo-op, and War, as you like, and compete with others for the highest score on the global leaderboards. You can unlock cosmetic items to customize your builder. While the addition of multiplayer in the game is great, the experience is far from ideal since there has been a steady decline in active players as of late.

All in all, Element TD 2 is a great tower defense game that offers a unique premise and plenty of variety in its gameplay. It’s fun and challenging, features a lengthy campaign, and lets you create builds for just about any situation you’ll encounter during your playthrough. The multiplayer side of things has seen better days, but that is not enough to stop it from getting a recommendation.
