A VR FPS game set in the old West

Western Bank VR puts you in a bank where you must collect deposits and store them, and where you must fend off bank robbers using your gun. The game offers simple fun at a sensible pace, even if the shooting mechanism takes some getting used to.

A simple shooter with a cartoon CGI cartoon style

Western Bank VR was based on an old Sega Master System game called Bank Panic, and that game was both terrible and unwinnable. Games like Alex Kid in Miracle World would beat games like Bank Panic out of sight. However, the Western Bank VR version of Bank Panic is rather good when you compare it to other games that were released in the same year. The graphics are pretty poor, and it plays like an early Wii game, but unlike many other VR games that were created in the same year, you will find that there is more to do when playing Western Bank VR. There are 25 levels, and there is a bunch of bonus stuff that has been squeezed into the game.

Fun for casual gamers who like easy games

Many of the problems that exist with early VR games are still present in this one, such as how plain and flat the graphics and characters are, and such as how many of the characters are just repeats of the same model. However, many games produced at the same time as Western Bank VR are short and are simply an exploitation of VR technology, whereas it is clear that the developers of Western Bank VR have tried to make a fun game rather than something for new VR users to test their sets with. The shooting premise, and the fact that the targets are so big, helps to make this game more fun. Plus, problems with aiming are not a problem because the game gives users a wide margin of error.
