Remote PC app for mobile

RemotePC Viewer is a remote PC application that was developed IDrive for mobile devices. This business & productivity app lets users access their computers remotely from anywhere by using their mobile devices. Using it, they can control their PCs anytime to be able to open important documents or work emails.

Similar to TeamViewer, RemotePC Viewer allows you to access your computer as long as you have an active internet connection and have the application installed across all your devices. Do note, however, that while the app is free to download, the service will require a subscription to use it.

How do I use RemotePC Viewer?

To set up RemotePC Viewer, you need to create an account first and have the app installed on all the devices that you plan to use it on. Next, log in to your account using the desktop application. Click on the “Configure” button to add your computer (or multiple ones) and activate the “AlwaysON” remote access for it.

To access a computer from the mobile app, simply login to your account using your smartphone and choose the device that you want to connect to. You can also grant One-Time Access to other people using the “Access ID” and “Key” that that app will generate for you. Once the session is over, you can revoke their credentials via the “Disable Access” button.

There are some things to take note of if you are considering using RemotePC Viewer, though. For one, navigating through your desktop computer using the mobile app is slow and cumbersome. Another thing is that while it has a chat feature, it does not have any built-in audio and video conferencing tools in case you plan to collaborate with others.

A decent remote PC app

Overall, RemotePC Viewer is a decent solution for setting up remote PC access. It’s simple to use, supports multiple devices, and has reliable performance. What’s more, it offers multiple plans to choose from depending on your needs. Despite some navigation issues, it is worth testing out to see if it’s right for you.
