First-person cinematic survival/horror game

Single Player: Horror is a game that certainly lives up to its name. As the reader may already suspect, this platform uses a first-person perspective to add a more chilling atmosphere to the various scenes that will be encountered. It also allows players to pause and save the game at any given time.

In terms of how scenes and environments are depicted, the first-person nature of this game is similar to other platforms, such as No Players Online. The main difference is that Single Player: Horror employs real-life human actors. Some may feel that this adds a more chilling overall atmosphere to the plot itself.

A seemingly innocent sleepover

Players will adopt the role of a university student named Sophie. While hosting a sleepover for her friends, an electrical storm cuts the power to her room. They soon realize that lightning has released a dangerous axe murderer who was previously locked in a video game.

Beating the clock

Another unique aspect of Single Player: Horror involves how decisions are made. Each of these is associated with a time limit, so players are under a significant amount of pressure to make the correct choices. Note that different actions may open up additional scenes.

Real-life actors

This game uses human actors to portray the main protagonist, her friends, and the axe murderer himself. This can provide a somewhat intense sense of realism that is not often possible with solely digital first-person platformers.

Decisions, decisions

This game offers several different outcomes based on what action the player decides to take. As it offers levels of suspense comparable to other bundles, such as Scorn, survival is the ultimate goal. Will Sophie choose to run, or will she instead save her friends? Only the player can determine the final outcome.
