Free pixelated horror game

FAITH: Chapter II is a pixel horror game by an independent developer named airdorf. The game is inspired by the era of MS-DOS, Apple II, Atari, and ZX Spectrum classics. Its stand-alone, spoiler-free demo serves as a separate experience from the original game but its full version is available for purchase. This game is a vertical slice, showing off new features of the game so you can contact the developer should you have any suggestions or bugs to report.

What happens in FAITH: Chapter II

FAITH: Chapter II is set in the United States in the 1980s. It tackles the Satanic Scare – a period of widespread paranoia of devil-worshipping, witchcraft and occult practices. Text messaging, GPS, and the Internet has not yet been invented and the vibrant, neon lights of the 80s were exclusive for the big city. This sequel continues after the priests had exorcised the demonic entities possessing the Martin Family.

The game tells the story of one of the priests who had escaped the ordeal. After confronting the unspeakable dark entities and narrowly escaping with his life, the young priest descends into a new nightmare. FAITH: Chapter II tackles mature themes and will feature cartoon violence and animated bloodshed. Anyone can play this game as it uses the standard WASD controls (and the additional Spacebar and arrow keys), but players that are squeamish might not enjoy this game.

The game employs chiptunes and detailed (yet pixelated) graphics to instill fear in players. It also helps that it has a minimal user interface, ensuring a completely immersive experience that will put you on the edge of your seat. The vibrant colors of the game pop out from the completely black background. Even without playing the first chapter or game, you can immediately play this game and understand the terrifying storyline.

Horrifyingly awesome experience

FATIH: Chapter II is a great sequel to FAITH. It continues to highlight the feeling of dread and helplessness but from the perspective of another character. Playing the first release will enhance your experience but you can go ahead and play this game. Because you will be playing this game alone, you’re definitely going to have a scary adventure.
