The sixth game in the Five Night at Freddy’s series, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator is a free survival-horror game featuring business-simulation gameplay.

Genre-bending gameplay

In Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator, you play as the manager of a pizzeria. By day, you manage the restaurant for your boss – this mainly involves adding upgrades, games and animatronic attractions to the establishment. By night, things get more intense as you’re left to scavenge the alley for animatronics, monitor any of the salvage you find and complete tasks in a dimly-lit room. As with the other games in the series, you may also find yourself fending off unwelcome guests, so be prepared for jump scares.Beyond the core gameplay, the game offers a few optional minigames. In addition to being a fun diversion, these minigames allow you to unlock bits of lore. A large part of the appeal of the game is discovering these hidden secrets: Different endings, creepy stories, lore, Easter eggs and achievements are just some of the things you’ll find if you look hard enough.

This game is clearly a (free) gift for fans of the series; those who haven’t played any of the previous games may find the mishmash of game mechanics a bit odd. Still, if you enjoy survival horror or you’re a fan of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, you’ll most likely get a kick out of this quirky game.
