A free program for Android, by Thomas Junge.
AVRDroid is a free Android app for Denon AV receiver owners. It allows you to use your smartphone or tablet as a remote control for your Denon AV receiver. It works via a local network and it does not require any special setup. It is very easy to use.
How does it work?
First, you need to install the app on your Android device and you need to make sure that it is connected to the same network as your Denon AV receiver. You need to open the app and you need to press the Create button.
The app will then ask you for a device name and a device serial number. You need to enter the device name and the device serial number of your Denon AV receiver.
After that, the app will ask you for a protocol. You need to select the protocol that you want to use. You can choose either HTTP or TCP.
You will then be asked for a URL. The app will then ask you for a device name and a device serial number.
You will then be given an XML file. You need to paste the XML file into the text area.
You can now start using the app as a remote control for your Denon AV receiver.
