Strike a pose in this idle game

Pose ASMR is a free simulation game from Imaginative Games, where players can observe a group of faceless figures pass through various walls without shapes cut out of them. These characters will have to imitate the poses cut out on these structures in order to pass.

Much like other idle games, like Popcorn Pop!, you will have to purchase a number of different upgrades in Pose ASMR that can boost your in-game income and add more walls for your characters to pass through. Take note, though, that you cannot control the characters themselves since they act more as NPCs.

What does it offer?

Pose ASMR’s premise is incredibly simple: just continue buying upgrades and watch the circle of characters pose their way through the various wall cut-outs. There’s nothing complicated about the process, which makes it great for casual players that don’t have the time to invest too much time into playing the game. The graphics are also appealing to look at thanks to the bright and colorful visuals.

However, apart from purchasing upgrades and watching over the numerous characters you’ll collect over time, there’s nothing else you can really do in the game. The mechanics get pretty repetitive and even the figures’ movements don’t offer much change, making it quite boring. There are no other tasks or mini-games available to help you break away from the same objectives, either.

In addition to this, the app also has a multitude of obstructive ads that constantly get in the way of gameplay. These ads tend to appear every time you purchase a new upgrade and can even appear randomly while simply observing the characters. Many of these ads are quite difficult to close, as well, with them either having no exit button or having the button nearly impossible to press.

Not really worth it

While Pose ASMR does have its fair share of positive qualities — especially when it comes to its visuals and simple mechanics — it doesn’t offer much else for players to enjoy. The gameplay gets boring over time and the high frequency of ads can become a source of frustration. Overall, it doesn’t strike you as anything unique or groundbreaking enough to warrant checking it out.
