A free program for Windows, by Brent Matzelle.
Gow is a tool that allows you to easily install more than 100 UNIX-based programs on your Windows PC. The tool is inspired by Cygwin and provides a shell window for each directory so you can access them through the command-line interface.
This tool is smaller and lighter than Cygwin, which makes it ideal for use in portable devices such as laptops and tablets. It is designed to be as small as possible, about 18 MB, and you can easily install and remove it with ease.
It includes a list of all included programs and a detailed description of each program so you can easily decide whether you want to install it or not.
