An open-world game update with numerous gaming options

The Guild II Renaissance is another version of the Guild II game where more gaming elements have been added, such as new maps and new professions. The gambling cheat/bug has been removed, but new professions have taken its place, such as innkeeper and mercenary. There are also new items to play around with and new items to create too. It is lots of fun if you like open world games.

A great way to burn through time

The Guild II Renaissance is nothing more than a time killer because there is no real point of playing and no real goal unless you are out to destroy your NPC competitors. The Guild II Renaissance didn’t fix the biggest problem that the Guild games have, which is that the characters age too quickly. You spend so much time building your character’s stats and putting your character in a position of power, and your character goes and dies of old age. Each of the Guild II updates seems to come with its own glitches and bugs, and in this game, you are able to rank your character’s stats up very quickly by knocking out a few people, robbing them, waiting for them to wake up, knock them out again and keep farming the EXP points. Nevertheless, despite its flaws and the fact you are playing with no end-goal in mind, it is still a very fun game. There are various ways of improving your business’s earning power, such as poisoning the well so that people buy more of your medicine.

An almost great game despite the glitches

The bugs and glitches will harm your gameplay experience in the long run, such as how ships can shoot on land without you even being able to see them. Nevertheless, there is plenty to do, and you may give birth to character classes of your choice, which allows you to legally buy businesses and try different ways of making money. Doing naughty things is more fun, but you can play an honest game and spend hours working your way up to lord mayor of your town or royal commander.
