Dream life is a free simulation game from developer YG Games for mobile devices. It’s a life sim wherein players take on the role of a woman tasked to revive a rundown mansion that she inherited. All the while, she goes on a journey of self-discovery and possibly even love.

Dream life also features a charming art style and graphics compared to games like Idle Life Sim or The Sims Mobile. It also boasts city-building mechanics that lets players decorate and customize their manor in various ways, as well as multiple characters to meet and interact with.

Home makeover

In Dream life, you will play Jane, a woman down on her luck who comes into an inheritance that makes her the new mansion owner. However, your new abode is worse for wear and is in total disarray. Make the most of what you have and create a place worth calling home. Design and decorate it however you want—you get to decide.

In addition, you also get to meet various characters with their own stories to share in this game. They will even help you renovate your manor—some can become a romantic interest as you interact with them more and help you find love again. You can even have pets running around to liven up the place and become your loyal companions.

What’s more, the game has events like festivals that give out rewards for playing puzzle games and slot machines. You can then use them to buy upgrades and more decorations for your mansion. The actual gameplay experience is okay, though, as it can get repetitive and dull after a while, and there’s not much you can do outside of the things discussed above.

Kind of a dull life

All in all, Dream life is an okay life sim if you’re a fan of the genre and are looking for something new to try out. The graphics look nice, it has city-building mechanics, and you meet various characters. However, things get dull quite fast, with so little to do after that. This is one of those games that have short and limited appeal.
