A free program for Android, by SailGrib.
How to use this app:
- Launch the app before your anchor; it will record your track and plot it on a map.
- Place your phone on the table with the charts.
- Moore without having to worry about the app.
- Go back to the application. Find the point on the track that corresponds to where the boat was when it was anchored. Due to the backward movement after anchoring, you should be able to locate it on the map rather simply.
- Use the target sign in the center of the screen to center the map on the anchor point.
- To fix the anchor position, click the blue “Anchor” button.
- By dragging the green dot to the edge of the zone, you may change the radius of the wetness region.
- By clicking the “Anchor” button once more, the wet spot is fixed.
The software leverages the most recent Android techniques while running in the background to minimize battery consumption and increase position accuracy.
Disclaimer: Keep in mind that your location and phone both affect how accurate your position is.
