DashClock Music Extension: A Widget for Music Lovers

DashClock Music Extension is a free multimedia application developed by GoneMAD Software LLC. This Android application shows the currently playing track, album, and artist on the DashClock Widget. Despite being unable to add play controls, this app works with most music players. However, if your music player is not compatible, you can try enabling the Notification Listener setting on Android 4.4+ to support any player that also supports the android lockscreen music controls. For Android 4.3 and earlier, enable last.fm scrobbling support or look for a setting to broadcast metadata.

To use this app, you need to install DashClock Widget by Roman Nurik. After installation, go to the settings to set what music player opens when you press the dashclock entry. Your player cannot be autodetected, so it must be manually configured.
