Aladin – Weather Model: Easy Access to Images of Weather Forecast System

Aladin – Weather Model is an Android application that provides easy access to images of Aladin – the weather forecast system by CHMI (Czech Hydrometeorological Institute). The app offers six models, including temperature, precipitation, wind, clouds, humidity, and ventilation index. It provides detailed forecasts in the form of a meteogram for many cities, ski resorts, and more.

In addition to the forecasts, Aladin – Weather Model includes images of current precipitation on top of Google Maps and a visualization of current lightning occurrences. The app also has a feature that animates the images and caches them on the SD card to be viewed offline.
