Goldcrest Valley – FS22 Mod is a free video game utility by celobuki for the simulator game Farming Simulator 22. Its map features the main farm, animals, 33 fields, eight sell points, a sawmill, several production points, and many more. This version is originally for Farming Simulator 17 but has been converted and modernized for FS22.
FS22 is the 22nd installment of the popular farming simulation games by GIANTS Software. The game lets players build their own farms in a graphically impressive virtual world. GCV is among the many mods that can be used to enhance or customize the base game.
Enhanced textures and terrain
Goldcrest Valley – FS22 Mod isn’t new to Farming Simulator’s expansive list of user-created mods. In FS17, many players greatly enjoyed the map’s visuals and layout, and it has since been updated for the sequels. This conversion of the map for FS22 aims to improve on the previous versions and modernize it by enhancing the textures and terrain, fixing bugs, and integrating new features.
As a conversion from the FS17 map, this mod has plenty of similarities with that version. You’ll likely appreciate this modernized version if you played the map’s original release. It’s not a bad experience by any stretch, but the customization can feel like a downgrade from the earlier versions in some places.
On the positive side, the mod gives you more freedom as it allows you to sell every product that grows on the map. GCV also allows you to purchase all included farmlands, providing you with more room for expansion. If you try the mod with a new save, you will start with a pre-built farm that includes a cow barn, sheep barn, chicken barn, and some machinery.
A refresh of a classic mod
Many players loved the Goldcrest Valley map from Farming Simulator 17, and while this FS22 version retains most of its roots, it still changed a lot of elements. Depending on your taste, you may or may not like this modernization of the map. However, players who are new to the franchise or the map can expect an enjoyable and well-polished experience.
