Get revenge against the monsters of Hell
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is a bloody action platformer game where you are out to get revenge against monsters who took embarrassing pictures of you.
The game takes place in Hell where you play Ash, the Prince of Hell. While taking a relaxing bath, a picture is taken and uploaded to the Hell-ternet and Ash decides to find the demons who took the picture. Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit features impressive visuals and an old school gameplay style that quickly becomes addictive.
Gameplay
The best way to play Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is with a PC controller. The controls require careful aiming and platforming skill that cannot be accomplished easily with a mouse and keyboard. In Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit you have to explore each level and defeat the various monsters that might have seen your picture.
With your saw jetpack, you maneuver everywhere, drilling through rocks and dismembering monsters every single moment. Using weapons like machine guns and rocket launchers, you kill everything in your path. You have to have friends in your pursuit for vengeance. Weapons can be upgraded with loot that is found in each level and at the end of each level you have to kill a boss monster.
Even though Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit can get repetitive, the game has a great variety of different levels and monsters. You have to use more than just your guns to kill them like using the environment or your jetpack to saw them into pieces.
Each mini-boss encounter ends with a quick mini-game that finishes the monsters off. After you defeat them you can send them to a camp where they are tasked to mine for money, research new weapons, or look for special items that can be used in Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit’s gameplay is a platformer at its core, but the insane style of the game always keeps it interesting.
Graphics
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit uses a slick cartoon style in all parts of the game. It is almost too bright to play in long periods because of how much is happening on screen at all times. The foreground is where you keep your attention, but the background also has smaller animations keeping a lot of action on screen.
All the monsters and animations in Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit are impressive. The game does not suffer lag or dropped frames even when there is too much going on screen. It is actually hard to focus on one thing because of the speed that the game plays at. Even the mini-games pop up so quickly it is difficult to figure them out immediately.
The variety of levels adds to the excellence in the art direction of the game and you will never get bored, but your eyes may start hurting.
Sound
The game also has a lot of audio. While there is not any voice acting, there are a lot of character sounds, mainly grunting or other strange noises. It adds to the atmosphere of the game. The shining part of the game is the soundtrack which is fast paced and almost aggressive to keep your mind on completing levels quickly.
Each level in Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit has a slightly different tone, but each moment has a core theme that follows throughout the game.
Overall
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is a great 2D platformer that brings the old gameplay style with a new visual design. It has an insane presentation of color, action, sound, and gameplay. You can get frustrated with some of the boss encounters, but once you find the perfect strategy it becomes a lot easier.
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit was a surprise. The tongue-in-cheek style is great and you just have a lot of fun playing.
