How did the text of the Bible come to be? How was it transmitted to the present day? What are the differences among the different versions? These are questions that many people have, but that are difficult to answer. In this App, we will try to give an answer to the first of these questions.

The text of the Bible was first transmitted by the Jews from Palestine to Egypt, and later on to Athens. The Christians used the Greek text of the Bible, which was compiled by the Jews, also called the Hebrew Bible. In the Middle Ages, the Christians used the Latin text, which was also compiled by the Jews. In the early 17th century, the English, French, and Dutch versions were published.
