A quirky tower defense game for mobile
Plants vs Zombies 2 is a free strategy game for mobile developed by ELECTRONIC ARTS. It’s a tower defense title that has players defend their homes from invading zombies by placing a variety of plant-based protectors and attackers on their front lawn to help defeat the incoming threat.
Plants vs Zombies 2 is the sequel to the highly popular and successful Plants vs Zombies. It introduces improved graphics, as well as more locations and levels to explore and play through. It also adds a whole slew of new plant units to help in the fight against the zombie horde.
Protect your home
When the first Plants vs Zombies game came out, it was immediately a hit among gamers for its quirky humor, goofy and cartoonish presentation, and more importantly, addictive gameplay. It was such a smashing success that it was quickly ported across all major platforms. Plants vs Zombies 2 is the sequel that aims to build upon what made the original so great while introducing new elements and upping the ante.
The game retains much of the signature gameplay that made the original so fun and addictive. The biggest addition here is the over 150 plant and evolution species available to you—triple what the first game offered. Also, you now get to explore 11 different locations spread across time and space, with more than 300 levels to play through, each one hosting its unique set of zombie types.
You can put your planting skills to the test by competing against other players in the Arena Mode. Try to get the highest scores as you play through unique levels. Now, being a free-to-play game, the inclusion of ads is to be expected. However, they can get rather intrusive at times, and you will be forced to watch the whole thing since some are unskippable.
Same but better and more fun
If you were a fan of the original game, then you will be pleased to know that Plants vs Zombies 2 brings the same fun and challenging gameplay, and then some. You get to explore various locations now and have triple the number of plants at your disposal. The ads can get annoying, though, but aside from that, this is a must-play for virtually anyone.
