Free interactive visual novel
The friendship and gore continues in Purrfect Apawcalypse 3: Patches’ Inferno. As suggested by the title, the visual novel game is told from Patches’ perspective. He’s dragged to school for the first cat-and-dog school day! Fans of the role-playing game will know that Patches Ito or Patchie is the main antagonist of Purrfect Apawcalypse 1 and Purrfect Apawcalypse 2. With everyone at the school distracted, he finds an opportunity to wreak havoc at the campus.
What is Purrfect Apawcalypse 3
Patches’ Inferno concludes the Purrfect Apawcalypse series. It still presents the same adorable dogs and cats befriending one another, having ‘pawsome’ adventures, and avoiding getting killed by other animals out for revenge. Themes of cartoon violence, gore, and strong language are still present in this game, but presents it from the antagonist’s perspective. The protagonist in the first two editions – Olive – is still present in the game but as a supporting character.
Patches is the main character of this game; he is in the 11th grade in Hachiko High and the vice president of the Literature Club. It’s important to know that Patchie is a male dog as it is revealed in his backstory that he befriends Angel Grimalkin – a cat. In a world where dogs and cats don’t get along, it’s important to the story that the two characters got along through their similar interest in reading.
As Patches, your goal is to break free from the Restraining Bolt you’re wearing and bring about the ‘apawcalypse.’ You can play this game without playing the previous games, but there are key facts that were revealed in the other installments that this version will not take time to discuss. Purrfect Apawcalypse 3 simply provides you with a conclusion to the series but elevates the story by presenting it in a different perspective.
Purrfect Finale
Patches’ Inferno offers the same simple controls and linear pattern of other interactive novel games, but differentiates offering a unique storyline. While this final installment is fun to play on its own, the story depends on knowing what had happened in the first and second games. It will help you understand the characters more thoroughly and provides context for this storyline.
