Alphabet.io – Smashers story is a free game with colorful cartoon graphics and very simple gameplay. It takes place in a world of letters but is not intended to be educational. Instead, its alphabet protagonists are bent on mayhem.

Those who have played games like Alphabet Lore Transform or Alphabet Combine: Merge Master will recognize the letter characters seen in this game. Once again, they are at war with one another, and the player’s job is to make one letter the toughest of all.

Attack the enemy letters

Alphabet.io – Smashers story puts the player in charge of a letter character. In some stages, you will be able to choose from different letters by watching an advert. You’ll be dropped into a playing field with a number of other letters walking around. Simply walk up to them, and your character will automatically attack and kill them.

Make your letter bigger and tougher

The object of each level is simply to kill all the enemies. As you pick them off, your own character will grow in size, becoming a rampaging monster. You’ll also earn coins that can be used to boost the size, speed, and attacking capabilities of your character before the level begins.

The enemies don’t put up a fight

Alphabet.io – Smashers story is a very easy game for the simple reason that your enemies don’t fight back, nor can they run very fast. The gameplay is based on the simple process of wiping out defenseless foes for fun. You can use power-ups like a laser-blaster to make the job even easier.

While it has no educational content, Alphabet.io – Smashers story appears to have been designed specifically for young children. There is humor to be found in the wacky cartoon characters, but the complete lack of challenge will drive away older players.
