Track and manage your golf scores at your fingertips
Golf Handicap Information Network, popularly known as GHIN, is a sports service offered by the United States Golf Association (USGA) to the 2.3 million golfers and 15,000 golf clubs they serve across the world. Recognizing that they are one of the largest handicap management tools in the world, they developed an official mobile app called GHIN Mobile to bring more convenience to their users. GHIN Mobile allows you to personally manage and follow your games by posting scores and tracking your statistics. This golf sports application can freely be used by members of the golf association exclusively.
Lackluster sports app
The main objective of the creation of this app is to bring convenience and increase accessibility to its members. Unfortunately, with the performance the app is providing, it fails to do so. The application itself does not run smoothly on either phone or tablet. Oftentimes you will encounter tons of technical problems such as login errors, constant crashes, and even going to post pages takes a full minute. Although there are few tutorials on YouTube that could help you resolve these problems, users who don’t have the luxury of time to learn the steps will eventually find the glitches a pain in their necks.
GHIN Mobile’s user interface also needs to be redesigned to look more pleasant to the eyes. It contains a lot of blank spaces that make it look empty. Moreover, the golfer lookup filter does not reset whenever a new last name is placed, which creates more confusion. With the disappointing performance that the mobile app showcases, it is recommended for you to use its website service instead until they fix all the issues that this sports app is facing.
