lemgthbook editor – A Helpful Add-on for Text Editing
lemgthbook editor is a useful add-on for Chrome that corrects accidental use of forbidden characters in text editor fields. Developed by lemgthy, this add-on aims to assist users in fixing mistakes in their text input.
The main function of lemgthbook editor is to replace forbidden characters in text input fields under certain circumstances. If the page title contains a lengthy keyword or if the active text editing field belongs to a news feed item that contains a lengthy keyword, the add-on will automatically replace the forbidden character.
Currently, the defined lengthy keywords are “long,” “length,” “round,” and “unit,” but the developer encourages suggestions for additional keywords. It is important to note that the add-on does not replace forbidden characters in non-editable text, allowing users to correct their own mistakes.
Please be aware that due to the unconventional structure of the text input fields on the full desktop site of certain platforms, such as the one used by z u c c, the add-on may encounter issues with very short lines of text. However, contributions to improve this aspect are welcome.
lemgthbook editor has been tested on Chrome for Mac OS and Firefox on various platforms, providing users with a helpful tool for correcting accidental mistakes in their text input.
