Marry more than one partner in Skyrim Special Edition
Multiple Marriages SSE is a free mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. As its name suggests, the fan-made mod alters the marriage mechanics in the game so that you can marry multiple characters. It makes it a good choice for players who can’t decide between their favorite NPCs.
Multiple Marriages SSE is a conversion of an earlier mod called Multi Marriage. The difference between these two is that while the original mod was for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, this version updates the mechanics to work with Skyrim Special Edition.
Marriage spells
The mod operates by giving the player different spells, which allows them to rework the game’s marriage mechanics. For example, if you cast the NPC Operator spell on a character, you will be given a menu that allows you to marry, divorce, or tag them as a potential partner for marriage. Another spell, the Relocation Operator, allows you to teleport your spouses.
Choose from a variety of NPCs
Not all the characters can be married, even with this mod. A notable absence is Serana, whose unique voice and dialogue led to her being cut from the mod’s overhaul. However, there is still plenty of variety, and you can even turn your spouse into a vampire.
Risk of becoming obsolete
As it’s a straightforward port of an earlier mod, Multiple Marriages SSE can no longer be updated. Players will have to download it “as seen” and run the risk of it becoming obsolete.
A new take on marriage in Skyrim SE
Multiple Marriages SSE defeats the object of the game’s marriage mechanics for some players, which is the option to make a particular NPC special. However, others will have fun picking multiple partners for their marriage slots.
