Force Windows to shutdown instantly

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been late home for supper because I had to wait ages for my computer to shutdown at work. Sometimes it’s because a stubborn app won’t close, other times the System Tray fails, and sometimes it’s just a plain old system crash. Whatever it is, it’s annoying.

Thankfully, ShutdownXP Enforcer is here to save you from this situation, shutting down or restarting your PC instantly. The program is a doddle to use. It simply nestles in the System Tray next to the clock and with just a few clicks your computer will be shut down.

It’s a quick system indeed, although sometimes if the PC is really playing up it’s hit and miss whether ShutdownXP Encoder will open at all. You should also note that it’s only to be used when the normal shutdown or restart method is not available.

Overall ShutdownXP provides a simple way of instantly shutting down Windows, though it’s not totally foolproof.

ShutdownXP Enforcer is a very powerful tool to immediately shutdown or restart Windows 2000 and XP-based computers (the last chance before the Reset button). Use it only if you have serious reasons not to follow the ordinary Shutdown/Restart procedure (i.e. an application that refuses to close, a system freeze, etc.).

It’s a System Tray Application and uses a very small amount of resources when running.
It gives you the ability to create Shutdown and Restart shortcuts on your desktop for the occasion of a System Tray failure.
