Space travel job simulator
The Martian VR Experience is a simulator based on the movie of the same name. Experience life as the sole human aboard a vessel sent to the planet Mars.
Into the void
While the film adaptation starring Matt Damon and the original novel received general acclaim, The Martian VR Experience is a huge drop in quality for the franchise. The “game” lasts all of 20 minutes, including such immersive and groundbreaking gameplay as placing potatoes into a bucket and pressing a single button. It should be noted that the virtual reality recreation of the Red Planet is suitably desolate and bleak, but these impressive visuals are the sole positive attribute of the title. What feels like a short tech demo or teaser even manages to pad out its laughable run time with footage directly lifted from the movie for an extra middle finger to the consumer. Adrift in a universe of incomplete VR titles, The Martian VR Experience somehow manages to earn a distinction for its poor quality.
No refunds in space
The Martian VR Experience is a game which should not be played by anyone. The cot per minute of gameplay is ridiculous even during the biggest price reduction.
