On July 3rd 2009, Capcom’s Street Fighter IV is out for PC. Street Fighter IV Benchmark is a tool to test whether your machine will be able to run it.
Street Fighter IV Benchmark is a pretty hefty download just to test this, but it’s free and will save you from finding out belatedly you can’t run the game.
After installation, starting the file will basically run a video demo of Street Fighter IV, allowing you to see its extremely stylish and polished graphics and animations. You will no doubt hope your machine passes the test, because the game is absolutely gorgeous.
At the end of the test, you’re given a run down of your test results, and a score to determine if you can run it or not. If you fail, you can try to reconfigure your PC to perform better, although Street Fighter IV Benchmark gives you no advice in doing this.
