Terminal for Bluetooth – A Review

Terminal for Bluetooth is a free Android app developed by NEXT PROTOTYPES that allows wireless serial communication with AVR, PIC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other devices using Bluetooth SPP. The app supports both ASCII and HEX commands, making it easy to communicate with various devices. In ASCII mode, the app replaces ” @0x0D ” with “\r” (CR) and ” @0x0A ” with “\n” (LF), but the “PREFERENCE NewLine Code (send)” feature does not apply to these alternative characters.

The app requires two permissions, INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, for advertising, and two permissions, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, for saving log.
