JRPG Dungeon crawler game for PC
Dungeon Drafters is a premium strategy game for PC by developer Manalith Studios. It is a 2D JRPG-style dungeon crawler adventure set in a fantasy world. In it, players will raid dungeons and battle creatures using magical cards that grant spells and abilities.
Just like Inscryption or Monster Train, Dungeon Drafters incorporated card battle and tile-based combat mechanics into its core gameplay, giving players a set of cards with which to strategize their moves. They can try out a demo version that showcases its combat and gives a preview of what its story is all about.
Magic deck
In Dungeon Drafter, you play as a would-be adventurer hungry for the thrill of exploring ancient ruins and discovering their wonders. In this world, magic is all around, and you will harness its power through cards as you create your perfect spell deck. As you delve into maze-like dungeons, gain more knowledge to become stronger to help rid of forbidden cards being used for evil purposes.
There are six playable characters to choose from in Dungeon Crafter. You’ll receive a signature starting deck depending on which one you choose. Fine-tune your deck to your specific playstyle or to deal with specific enemy types. Find rare cards and rescue lost adventurers. Be sure to secure your loot back in town or risk losing them and your cards when you get defeated inside dungeons.
During your downtime, you can explore the town to purchase new cards for your deck, open booster packs, and interact with some NPCs that will provide you with quests and challenges. Aside from the demo, though, there is no specific release date yet as to when the game will officially come out. You can periodically check its Steam page for more news and announcements in the future.
Create the perfect deck
Dungeon Drafters is yet another solid card battle game that you can consider if you’re looking for something new to try out. You get multiple characters to choose from, each with their unique deck builds. Dungeons are filled with a variety of enemies to face and rare cards to discover if you’re brave enough to delve deeper. Hopefully, it receives an official release date soon.
