When you’re the kind of person who likes to have the latest and greatest apps on your phone or tablet, you’ll find it pretty handy to be able to download and install new firmware from your phone. But what if you need to do that from your tablet or computer? You can use the mobile ODIN app from Samsung to do that, but there are some issues that come along with that app, namely that it requires rooted devices and older versions of Android. Now, you can use the FlashFire app to do that, and you don’t have to worry about rooted devices or keeping your device rooted. You can also use it to upgrade to the latest firmware from your phone, which can be useful if you have a problem with the latest firmware.

The root FlashFire app is used by default when you install the root extension for your device, but it can also be used on its own.
