G-clusterリモート: Use Your Android Phone as a Game Controller
G-clusterリモート is an Android application that allows users to use their Android smartphone as a game controller. By simply entering an 8-digit number displayed on the TV screen, users can operate the cloud gaming service “G-cluster” with ease and enjoy new features.
To use the app as a controller, start G-cluster, display the game top screen, launch the app, tap “Start,” and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. After entering the 8-digit number displayed on the TV screen, the app will automatically switch to the controller screen, allowing users to operate the game on the TV screen.
The app has three input modes that users can switch between to suit their G-cluster usage. Users can select their preferred controller by tapping the “▼” menu on the gamepad’s top. Additionally, the app has a vibration function that users can turn on or off from the menu. To use the app with a different TV, users can unlink the app from the current TV from the app’s top screen “About this app,” which will reset the app’s settings.
However, due to a change in specification, users can no longer set up the cloud gaming machine G-cluster using the app. Instead, users must use a TV remote control or a game controller for the setup.
