How does it work?

When a website displays a video, it displays an HTML element for that video. When the video begins playing, a small overlay appears over the video. However, the website is not informed of the number of times the advertisement is displayed. The number of times the advertisement is displayed depends on the video-viewing time, so ads may appear more often than they should. The website may also display the same advertisement several times.
