Instant Save for Instagram and Flickr for chrome from dangardiner
Instant Save for Instagram and Flickr is an extension for Chrome. It allows you to save any Instagram or Flickr image via a single click on the context menu. You can save photos, videos, and images from the main feed, a post or photo’s page, or a user’s overview or favorites page will save directly to your browser’s default download location when you click on the option this extension adds to the right-click context menu.
This extension was made in response to issues we were having with Instagram. Instagram has changed the way they display photos, and it is now impossible to get the un-cropped version of any photo, video, or image. The only solution to get these is to save them in your own gallery, which is an extra step. The un-cropped image can be saved via this extension, as well as any video, in one step. This saves time and effort, especially for users with many photos and videos to download.
This extension was developed by me, as an individual. I was not part of the team that created this extension, nor was I paid to develop it. The reason I developed this extension is that I was having a problem with the way Instagram was displaying images, and I wanted to fix it.
