Reversi – Strategy Board Game For Two Players

Reversi is a strategy board game for two players. It is played with a set of 64 identical game pieces called disks, which are light on one side and dark on the other. The game Reversi was invented in London in 1883 by two English men. It was later introduced to Japan, where it is popular today.

How to play Reversi

1. The game Reversi is played on a board with 64 squares. Each player starts with an equal number of discs of their own color.

2. A single play of the game Reversi consists of taking turns to place a disc of one’s own color in an empty square on the board. If a disc of the opponent’s color is placed in the same square, that square becomes “occupied” and cannot be used for the rest of the game.

3. At the end of a play, the player who has the most “unoccupied” squares on the board wins.
