Azure AD App Launcher – For Calling the Authorize Endpoint
In this extension, we are not trying to take over the application itself, but rather make the process of calling the /authorize endpoint much easier.
We are calling the endpoint using the following parameters:
This is the minimum required parameters to call the authorize endpoint. You can customize the call according to your requirements.
The popup window for calling the /authorize endpoint has a button for adding a scope in it. This is a separate window in which you can select any of the required scopes to add in the application. You can even call the endpoint with more than one scope.
To call the endpoint, you have to be anywhere on any application registration.
Then just click the extension icon to open the window for calling the endpoint. After that, a window will be opened where you can select the application and enter the required parameters. Then click the sign in button and the process will start.
Once the authentication is completed, you will be redirected to the main window.
You can also customize the response_type and add an optional scope.
You will be asked for the authentication of your device, even though this extension will take care of the authentication. The token will be generated, and then you will be redirected to the popup window.
