Premium variety casual game

The Coin Game is a paid casual game that essentially gives you your own arcade. Developed by devotid Media, this app offers an adventure filled with arcades and a carnival – all having fun games with realistic physics and addictive games that reward you with coins and tickets.

Judging by its graphics, The Coin Game gives off some serious Five Nights at Freddy’s or Youtubers Life 2 vibes. However, it doesn’t have jump scares and no story elements. It is just a casual experience that lets you enjoy arcades, games, and rides from the comfort of your own home.

Revisit your arcade days

As a standalone game, The Coin Game is on its own little world: a little island filled with nothing but fun. The games in the entire location are run and maintained by cute and small little robots, resembling a fantasy game land where all prizes are yours for the taking. This makes for a fun and addictive experience, with the small mechanical servants contributing to the enjoyability of the game.

Graphics-wise, it’s a good mix of realism plus a sense of nostalgia. You can even stop playing for a while and watch how the medal games rock and forth or “The Typhoon” running its neon lights around the glass dome similar to its real-life counterparts. You can even challenge the little robots to a game of go-kart, bumping and overtaking them across the little winding racetrack.

The only shortcoming in this game probably is that you’re the only human being here. Not only in the game lore or universe but also in the fact that there’s no multiplayer mode. This makes the game experience sad, especially once you start recalling how fun playing these games would be with friends. Otherwise, play and win all you want with no lines and no people cutting.

A nostalgic retro trip

Most kids who grew up with these carnivals and arcades will surely get a kick out of The Coin Game. Here, you’ll never have to worry about losing or running out of tokens. With fun and polite robots surrounding you and the games rendered in high quality, you’ll never notice the hours pass you by. Unfortunately, its lack of multiplayer options means you’ll be alone. Still, highly recommended.
