Answer fun polls with your friends
SLAY is a free social and communication app made for teens where you can answer fun polls and boost someone else’s confidence. Similar to Gas, all your responses will remain anonymous and everyone who voted for you in a poll will remain a mystery, as well.
SLAY makes sure to present a positive experience to young adults and teens by making sure all the polls are supportive and non-discriminatory. However, you can also find some hints as to who answered you in a poll. The only hints you’ll be able to get, though, are the person’s gender and class.
A unique way to compliment someone
Users will have to answer a set of 12 questions and polls per round in SLAY. Each poll allows you to choose one out of four candidates that you think best suits the answer. Every time you choose someone as the answer, that person will receive a notification in their inbox that lets them know an anonymous user has chosen them for that specific question.
The app allows you to add friends directly from your contacts or by looking up their usernames. You can also choose to make use of location services and join your actual school so you can easily find people from your grade. However, this can also be a bit of a hassle as you will need to manually disable location services after the initial search for nearby schools.
As previously mentioned, the questions you’ll find in this app are meant to be positive so they can encourage other users and make someone else’s day. It also does not allow any correspondence through chats or private messaging, so that the occurrence of bullying can be minimized. In addition to this, the app makes sure not to keep any logs of your data in order to protect your personal information.
Make someone’s day
Apart from the minor hiccup where you have to disable location services in your device’s settings, SLAY presents numerous great qualities that make it a great way for teens and other young adults to interact. With numerous anti-bullying policies in place, it offers a safe zone for you to give someone a compliment and find out how others think of you as well.
