The Wildfire Analyst™ Pocket Edition is a Mobile Wildland Fire Calculator that enables the wildland firefighter community with operational fire behavior tools for use in the field. It is a tool that combines the scientific method with advanced mathematical analysis to calculate fire behavior and produce a graphical display of the expected fire behavior in a given environment. It is a tool that can be used by any person with a valid license and some degree of training.

How does the Wildfire Analyst work?

The basic input that the user provides is the starting point for all calculations. The user can change the input parameters to see the effect on the calculated result. The user can also view the calculated result on a map in real-time.
