7pace – A Time Management Tool for Software Developers
7pace is a time management tool for software developers to track their time, collaborate with colleagues on any project, and deliver an enhanced product in the end. It works for the entire development cycle: from coding to release.
The feature sets for a development software are diverse, from task management (such as the ability to view hours by task, time by milestone, by tag, or by keyword) to the ability to track a code, a story, a comment, an issue, or a commit. The flexibility of the application allows users to manage their entire project.
The solution consists of two parts: a browser extension and a time tracker.
Why use the browser extension?
If you use GitHub, you’ll be happy to hear that this app will let you add or remove projects and users from any page.
When creating a project, you can decide how it is displayed on the pages of the application. In the extension, you’ll have access to both the project’s name and description, as well as a list of the people with access to the project.
The application also has an option to turn off autocomplete, as it sometimes makes it difficult to type.
You’ll also be able to filter the projects list, such as by the tag, the date of creation, and the status of the project.
For each project, you’ll have access to a graph of your hours spent on the project in the past week and month.
You’ll be able to manage the projects by adding or removing them from your list.
The most interesting is the list of issues and pull requests.
