127 Hours is a true story directed and produced by Danny Boyle starring James Franco as real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston, who became trapped by a boulder for more than five days while mountaineering in Utah.

The film is based on Ralston’s autobiography Between a Rock and a Hard Place and is made by the same team that made Slumdog Millionaire.
