“金魚すくい　定番ゲーム” is a complete app version of the classic summer festival game, “Kingyo sukui.” This app allows you to enjoy the fun of catching goldfish without spending any money like you would at a festival booth. It’s also perfect for those who can’t have pet goldfish at home!

About the App:

This app brings the traditional Japanese summer tradition of “Kingyo sukui” to your smartphone as a game. Use a tool called “poi” to catch as many goldfish as possible and aim for a high score!

How to Play:

Tap the screen to make the “poi” sink. Move the “poi” under the goldfish and release your finger to catch them. The number and type of goldfish you catch determine your score.

Tips:

When the gauge at the top of the screen runs out, the “poi” will break. “Edamekin” goldfish give more points than regular goldfish, but they consume more gauge, so be careful. Also, keeping the “poi” in the water will naturally deplete the gauge, so quickly catch the goldfish after sinking the “poi”!
