A single-player action fantasy RPG
ZanZarah: The Hidden Portal is an action fantasy role-playing game (RPG) that brings a popular game from 2002 to modern computers. The game is set in a fantasy world of magic called Zanzarah and centers around a young girl who has escaped to that world and is tasked with saving it from destruction.
In terms of both gameplay and aesthetics, this game bares a lot of similarities to Fable – The Lost Chapters, as well as other games in the Fable series. It sports an action-based combat system and is accompanied by an original soundtrack.

The core gameplay mechanic is one of creature training. The player must traverse the world of ZanZarah as Amy in search of different fairies and demons, collect them, train them, and then use them in fast-paced battles against the evil elements of the world. This draws obvious similarities to Pokemon.
A good game for fans of the original
ZanZarah: The Hiddle Portal is a game with a loyal fanbase from its original release in 2002, but it is more of a functional port than a remaster. For that reason, the graphics look dated, and the aging nature of the game may limit its appeal beyond existing fans of the game.
